Hortifactor Super High Pressure Sodium (HPS) Lamp 400 volt is the classic and most popular choice for flowering rooms. High Pressure Sodium Lamps can be used through the vegetive and flowering stages, but the yellow spectral output makes them optimal for flowering. The double-ended bulb is the most efficient on the market. The PCA ceramic arc tube permits the lamp to operate at higher internal temperatures increasing colour output and efficiency. This lamp gives longer lamp life and increased lumen high output that is consistent.
This lamp can cause skin burn and eye inflammation from short wave ultraviolet radiation if outer envelope of the lamp is broken or punctured. Do not use where people will remain for more than a few minutes unless adequate shielding or other safety precaution. Specifically designed for high frequency electronics ballasts (>100KHz); install the new lamp with the getter near the ballast, with the glass vacuum seal pointed downwards or sideways.
